Adding Harmony, Bass Line and Drum Set Pattern

These chords where created through composed. For the Drum line I repeated the beat half way and then changed it up again. For the harmony I used the piano to make the harmonized portion sound richer. I used the Electric bass to follow the the guitar. It makes the sound to have a bit more emphasizes.

Create a Drum Set Pattern for a Melody in Bb

This is my song called (cover). I just added the drums to it. A composition is actually a hard thing so make in general. You must make everything sound right, have the right ate at the right place. I believe that not just anyone can make a composition. You have to have the patience, and also have the right sound to make the piece sound great.

Harmonizing 16 Bars in Bb Major

I have harmonized my song called (cover). Choosing you chords between major or minor is a hard thing to do. First you have to actually know which note to start off with. Say you started off with a G, you would be able to use C minor, Eb Major, and G minor. You can use these because they all have a G in it. Then you just start plugging in and see which is the one that you like most. It's an easy thing, but to make it sound good you have to sit down and actually take your time on it.

16-Bar Melody in Bb Major

I created a song called (cover). The form that I had chosen was the through-composed form. I choose this form because I had chosen to not repeat measures. The hardest part of creating this composition was the fact that each measure is different and trying to make new things sound good with the old things is kinda difficult. What I had enjoyed in the creation of this composition was being able to go through different notes and actually make decent sounds. Advice that I would give to the next person doing this assignment is to actually pay attention to what you are doing, and to be very creative.

Harmonize the First 8-Bar Melody

A chord is two or more simultaneously sounding pitches (according to encyclopedia). While you are playing to chords at a time it makes a more soothing tone. Chord progressions are a series of musical chords (according to Wikipedia). I chose my chords, and chord progressions by looking at the chart with all the Majors and Minor.

My First 8 Bar Melody

I made a composition called "The Longfellow". A place that inspired me to make this composition was the street I live in. I found this composition easy to make there were no difficulties at all. What I enjoyed the most of all was truly being able to have fun while creating music. I would advice that everyone should save their work a lot.
